Cropped Hoodie - Missguided (no longer on site)
Dr Martens Boots - Old, very old
If you've been a long time reader of this blog then shout out to y'all. I know for sure you're gonna be bored of me saying, for the 74793741th time, 90's grunge fashion. Is. My. Fave. Out of all the decades of fashion, 90's wins by 7 miles. I think it's just a way of life for me now. I just don't really feel fully comfortable in an outfit unless up 'grunged it up' a tad.
Take these jeans, for example. Ripped sequin boyfriend jeans? A big yes from me. They're like a 2017 upgrade from the 90's, with the big gaping rips and the camo sequins. I like how past fashion is recycled and modernized. I've been dying to pair these Liquor N Poker beauties with my cropped hoodie. I dunno, they just work so well together. I think it's because they are both quite edgy pieces. Shame it's too cold to actually wear this outfit for any purpose other than blog photos right now. It's deffo one for the archives. Gotta bring it back it in the Spring.
Let's talk about the Dr Martens boots. It had never actually occurred to me to pair my trusty Doc Martens with these jeans. I'm in such a trainers rut recently, I don't think any other type of footwear ever occurs to me anymore, woops (apart from those beaut copper velvet boots in this post). I threw the Dr Martens on, on a bit of a whim, but just look at da result. All the grunge. I enjoy how masculine (is that the right word???) they look together.
P.S. I've just seen on Asos that these jeans are on sale for £13.50 WHHAATTTT, go go go!
