First off, thoughts on my new hair? I was getting a bit bored of the blue dip dye. I wanted more of my hair to be blue, but didn't want to get rid of the blonde completely. I've decided to settled for blue ombre hair. I luv it.
So, talking of new hairstyles, I got my paws on the Babyliss Professional 210 crimper. At £20, it's an absolute bargain. It heats up fairly quickly, in about a minute or two. Obviously not the quickest heat up time, but I can't complain. There are ten heat settings to choose from, which to be honest, I'm not really fussed about. I'm the kind of person to stick it on the hottest setting and hope for the best (probably not great for my poor hair), but it's good if you like a choice of settings.
Crimping is super quick as well. I'm not going to lie to y'all, I hate doing my hair. I love having it curly, but it takes forever, so I don't usually bother. With this baby, I had it all crimped within 15 minutes. Perfect. The plates are really wide, which means you can get a good chunk of hair on the go each time. The crimper only takes 2-3 seconds to work it's magic on each section of hair. I mean, that might be because I have it on the hottest setting, but quicker is always better, am I right?
Let's talk about 80's crimped hair. I'm still a bit unsure. It will be fun for a festival or a night out. 80's fashion is going to be big this year, so it meshes well with that. I think it's because I've never ever had crimped hair before, I just need to get a bit more used to it.
Would you ever crimp your hair?
