I can't say that I'm the Christmas jumper type. Never owned one before this week, never had any intentions of owning one. Well I say that, but last year Zoella had this black jumper from Asos, cover big white pom poms. It was insane in the membrane. I needed it, but of course it sold out in 10 minutes like everything Zoella shows in her vids. Anyways, it's Christmas jumper day at work so this year I had to invest in one. Obvs I headed straight to Asos to try and find that beautiful pom pom number that's still in my head from last year. Nope, nothing. Can I just say, I think the Christmas jumper selection the high street shops are giving us this year is awful! I was hoping to find something a bit unique and out there from Asos, but they did not pull through. Asos, disappoint me.
Queue vintage. It didn't even cross my mind to go on the hunt for a vintage jumper, but after trawling through the Christmas jumper pages of Asos, Boohoo, New Look, Missguided, PLT, any other online shop I've missed out, and Asos again, I had a little look on Beyond Retro and found this beaut. Ten sizes too big, 20 quid, I couldn't say no. I like this jumper, I think it's a cool jumper. Like, yeah it's ugly, but it's got those cool vintage ugly kinda vibes. I like how it looks with converse and hoop earrings. And it's comfy af, I know I'm gonna end up wearing it all year round. Don't judge.
So yeah, if you're struggling to find a Christmas jumper (because let's face it, the selection from the high street was pretty dire this year) go check out the vintage options!
