Anyone else been liking the tee under a slip dress trend? I didn't like it too much at first, but it has kind of grown on me. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet, but when I do I'd like to mix things up a bit with a jumpsuit instead. The neckline and spaghetti straps of this khaki one look a lot like a slip dress, so my instant thoughts were a plain white tee underneath. I'm still all about that 90's grunge life, so I couldn't resist adding a choker into the mix. I'm gonna get all cliche on y'all here, but a think a dark dark berry lip would look perffff with this outfit.
I'm feeling like embroidery is gonna be big this Autumn/Winter. It's just everywhere, and I ain't complaining. These jeans are something like what I would have rocked when I was nine. Although, probably not paired with a velvet top, a velvet jumper (yas to the double velvet) and the most fantastic pair of fluffy boots. I die, they're perfect. Let's face it, jeans and a big cosy jumper is a classic Autumn outfit, but the velvet, embroidery and fluff make it hella more interesting than just ya standard.
This is deffo my fave out of the three. The star stud mini skirt is just a tad out of my price range, but sometimes it's worth spending a bit more on a piece like this, because it's a staple that can be styled in countless different ways. I've gone down the grunge route here (obvs...) with the DM's, fishnets, striped crop and choker. A lot of the time, I think the 'grunge' style is thought of as dark colours and loads of black, but it's so easy to make it a bit more colourful. Literally, all you gotta do is add a choker aha! Can we please take a moment to appreciate the fluffy pink bomber.
