When I think grunge eye makeup I think heavy, dark and smudgy. Usually I go for browns, taupes and a hint of black when trying to recreate those grunge vibes on my eyes, but I thought it would be fun to try out the same look with a bit of colour, and a colour I don't normally wear - pink...
I use the shade 'High' from the Smoky palette (far left) everyday in the inner corner of my eyes - it's basically perfect for highlighting and making your eyes look more awake, so of course that went on. I then put 'Thirteen' (far right) all over the lid as a base.
I took the Kiko Infinity eye shadow in Satin Carmine, packed it into the crease and pretty much just smudged it all the way around my eyes using a fluffy brush. Grunge inspired makeup is all about being messy and smudgy, so don't worry about trying to keep it neat!
I rarely go out without the classic winged liner. My eyes look so small and tired without it so I wear it most days. For the lipstick, I was tempted to go for a nude lip, but I was swayed by a bold pink toned lip.
