That Fringe

Fringed Leather Jacket - Vintage
Roll Neck Jumper - River Island (not on website)
Underground Creepers - TK Maxx

I thought finding these Creepers for so cheaply in TK Maxx was to good to be true - not even joking, my ankles are in tatters. I wore them out, ankles bare, Friday night. Of course, I was too much of a mess to realise how raw they were rubbing my skin. I felt no pain for the whole night, but now I have all the pain. I literally can't walk with shoes or socks on, WHAT IS LIFE.

That will be the last time I wear those Creepers for a while, and I'm so sad because this outfit will also probably be the last time I will be able to venture out with bare legs until like April next year or something silly. Again, WHAT IS LIFE. I think a lot of outfits look so much better without tights - I need to move to a warmer country. On the plus side, I can wear roll neck jumper dresses like this beaut that I picked up in the Riv I sale. I'm so stoopid, I completely forgot to photograp it without a jacket - it's sleeveless y'know.

I've noticed that sleeveless jackets and blazers and jumpers are literally everywhere at the moment. I'm kind of in two minds about them. Doesn't the sleevelessness kind of defeat the purpose of them being warm? I don't even know, but I do want more sleeveless 'meant-to-be-warm' pieces!

  5. Completely agree about some outfits just being better without tights! This looks great, loving the colour of the jumper and of course the jacket, so good!

  6. I had a pair of creepers that did the same - damn the shoes! I'm not sold of the sleeveless jumpers thing... I don't get it, but I'm a wimp in the cold so I'd rather be warm and wait for sleeves to come back into fashion haha.

    1. It's so annoying because I love them so much - did you ever manage to break yours in? I've had mine for ages now, I don't think they're ever gonna stop rubbing. Haha that's fair, I love how they look so layering could work?

  13. I got battered and bruised feet from a pair of shoes I used to own once; it's the worst. Ugh, hope it all goes well for you, Alice, and I'll gladly trade places with you, I hate the heat here and would honestly prefer to wear tights more than anything.

  21. Your fringe suits you so much! Wish i looked that good with a fringe! I just looked like a mushroom. I looove wearing tights! I think they totally add to outfits - I usually have some sort of pattern on them or a different colour to black.

And are you mad?! Wearing creepers without socks!? That's bound to hurt! I've never had blisters from either of my creepers, thank stars, it's docs for me that just don't agree with my feet!

    1. Aw thank you, I'm so glad I cut it back in! I haven't bought patterned tights in forever, I actually really want to get some fishnet ones though because all mine are destroyed (not that they're that much warmer than wearing bare legs aha!).

I love the way they look without socks, but my feet have totally paid for it now aha! You're so lucky, I wish mine where as comfy as yours! That's so annoying, I've always been okay with docs!

  26. I'm with you on the sleeveless clothes thing, I don't get how something sleeveless is warm, for Irish weather you need sleeves! I do think they are good layering pieces though, your arms don't up looking super bulky.
Also, your jacket is bomb ♡
