Metallica Tee - Urban Outfitters
Cord Skirt - Urban Outfitters
Biker Jacket - Vintage
Zebra Socks - Primark
Shoes - Primark
Metallica 2.0 because I've featured this top and leather jacket together once before, but I feel as though this is the new and improved version.
This tee does satisfy some wishes of my little pink haired, 16 year old self. I think that this was around the time I discovered Metallica. I remember listening to Fade To Black and The Unforgiven on repeat on the bus once, and the obsession grew. This was also around the time that Tumblr had first come into my life. I never had my own account (I still don't), but I used to sit there for hours trawling through all of the 'inspirational images'. I must have seen one of the Tumblr girls wearing a Metallica top, looking all rock n roll and awesome, and I decided I needed one too. All of the ones that I had found on the internet (okay, eBay) were alright I guess, but they weren't quite what I wanted.
Skip forward a few months to a shopping trip with my mum, and my dreams came true, right there in Urban Outfitters. I had found it - it was this perfect little cropped Metallica top, with ripped drop sleeves and a design that I obviously thought was completely rad. Unfortunately, my mum's response to me asking for it was something along the lines of 'I am not spending £32 on a cut up men's t shirt'. Fair enough, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit devastated inside.
Anyway, I finally found this one in the Urban Outfitters sale for £18 last October. I couldn't not buy it - I don't listen to Metallica too often anymore, but I had to satisfy that 16 year old rock obsessed girl. Never let go of your teenage self!
P.S. I found the leopard print belt! It was in Lewis's bag. Apparently I put it in there but I do not remember this... (if you don't have a clue as to what I'm talking about, see this post).
