Spur of the moment hair dying decisions are my forte.  I basically have one of two thought processes, depending on the situation:

Thought Process 1 - I have hair dye

Me: 'Oo, I think I'll dye my hair'
Me: Dye's hair

Thought Process 2 - I don't have hair dye

Me: 'Oo, I think I'll dye my hair'
Me: Orders whatever colourful hair dye tickles my fancy
Me: Dye's hair

Sometimes I end up regretting it.  Most of the time I like it then end up regretting it. Too attached to my blonde hair, I think.  I get bored easily though.  As well as the fact that I'm just not one of those people that thinks about dying their hair for months, then finally does it a year later.

Seeing as I already had some Directions dye from ages ago hiding away somewhere, my mind underwent thought process 1.  I actually hate dying my hair, it's such a tedious process, right?  So this time around, I decided to treat my hair to a lick of lilac which took no more than ten minutes, a lot of conditioner, and the comfort of not having to leave my shower.  Lovely.  If anyone is interested in a tutorial, leave a request in the comments and I'll show ya'll how!

I also thought it would be fun to do a little hair diary of my hair dying fanatics.  Starting when I was 16, all the way through to the last time I dyed my hair when I was 19, here's all of the different ways I thought it would be a good idea to colour my hair.

Pastel Pink Under That Massive Fringe:

Upgraded To Bright Orange:

Faded To This:

Upgraded Again To Dark Brown:

Faded To This:
Little story; I absolutely HATED it being this colour, and was trying to get it to wash out for like a year.  It wouldn't budge.  Then I discovered a magical little product called hair dye remover!  Well done, Alice...

Lilacy Side Bit:

Lilacy All Of It:

Lilac Dip Dye:

Pink!:

GINGER!!!:

There was also pink dip dye after being a ginge, but for some reason I have no photos of that.  I don't think it looked very good anyway.

  3. My hair diary is kinda similar! natural blonde -> red -> black -> (blonde highlights -> pink highlights) -> blonde -> brown - blonde -> brown -> blonde. Wow, I didn't think I dyed my hair that many times already!
